Benefits of Membership

As a member of the Greater Memphis Employee Benefits Council (GMEBC), you are part of a unique benefits community within our city and outlying areas. You have opportunities to gain valuable insight into current benefits issues as well as learn many of the best practices of your colleagues throughout the organization.

The Council presents speakers from a wide range of stimulating topics each meeting. An in-depth Q&A session at the end of each presentation insures that you can ask questions on your own particular points of interest.

Membership in GMEBC provides a great networking tool to meet and learn from other benefits professionals as well as exposure to resources that can help you meet the benefit goals of your company. We all want to perfect our skills in life and especially in our daily professional life and GMEBC membership is a great step toward achieving that goal.  Although specific membership requirements are necessary to maintain a high level of professionalism in the Council, any person who works in the benefits area or closely related field is encouraged to apply, and may join if recommended by two members in good standing.
